Product Description

Build a piece of post-war maritime history with the Fishing Trawler Wuppertal card model from HMV (Hamburger Modellbaubogen Verlag). Designed by Peter Brandt, this 1/250 scale papermodel recreates one of the two trawlers ordered in 1951 by the Nordsee Deutsche Hochseefischerei AG at the Rickmers shipyard. The Wuppertal and her sister ship Nürnberg were built for strength, reliability, and speed, capable of reaching 13 knots fully loaded.

This detailed and challenging model kit captures the essence of 1950s German fishing trawlers that operated across the North Sea, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Greenlandic waters. The kit includes 607 parts printed on 4 DIN A4 sheets, offering a precise and rewarding build for advanced modelers. The finished model measures 237 mm long, 37 mm wide, and 71 mm high.

Bring the golden era of fishing vessels to life with this high-quality paper model – a must-have for ship model enthusiasts and collectors of maritime history.
