📝 Product Description

Build a piece of maritime history with the HMV Hohe Weg Aussenweser Lighthouse Card Model Kit (1:250).
This exceptional paper model by Hamburger Modellbaubogen Verlag (HMV) recreates the famous German lighthouse located in the Weser estuary, built in 1855–56 and designed by Dutch architect J.J. van Ronzelen.

The Hohe Weg Lighthouse was the first lighthouse to feature a Fresnel lens—a 2.5-meter optical marvel now displayed in the German Maritime Museum (Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum) in Bremerhaven. The model includes the distinctive wind semaphore, which once indicated wind direction and strength from Borkum and Helgoland.

With 169 detailed parts printed on high-quality A4 sheets, this medium-difficulty kit offers everything from radar antennas, dinghy with davits, and jetty, to a water base for a realistic maritime presentation. Perfect for model ship and lighthouse enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone fascinated by nautical architecture.
