Product Description
Build a detailed replica of the Soviet T-30 light tank with this 1:25 scale card model kit from Orel (No. 022).
The T-30 was a Soviet light tank developed around 1940 as part of the programme intended to replace the earlier T-37A and T-38 amphibious reconnaissance tanks. Although designed with amphibious capability in mind, its wartime role was primarily as a light reconnaissance and infantry-support vehicle.
By June 1941, approximately 220 T-30 tanks were in service with the Red Army. Combat during the early stages of the German invasion of the Soviet Union quickly demonstrated the limitations of lightly armoured and lightly armed vehicles of this type, particularly when used in direct support of infantry.
This Orel 1:25 scale paper model recreates the T-30 in its characteristic Soviet green finish. The kit consists of 12 A4 sheets and offers a moderate level of detail, making it a suitable project for card modellers interested in Soviet tanks and WWII military vehicles.
Please note that the model does not include a detailed interior.
