Both destroyers served with the Imperial Russian Navy during the Russo-Japanese War. Буйный served with the Second Pacific Squadron and took part in the Battle of Tsushima, while Бойкий served in the Far East and survived the fighting around Port Arthur.

The two models feature the distinctive four-funnel appearance of these early Russian destroyers, together with detailed artillery and torpedo armament, bridges, boats, davits, deck equipment and fine fittings.

The included laser-cut upgrades provide structural frames for both ships plus 272 precision-cut detail parts, making this an excellent package for experienced card modellers and collectors of Imperial Russian Navy and Russo-Japanese War ships.
