Product Description
This highly detailed card model kit of the Large Landing Ship (BDK) Project 775 “Konstantin Olshanskiy” represents a historically significant amphibious vessel of the Soviet and later Ukrainian Navy. Designed in 1:200 scale and published by Orel Publishing, the model consists of 13 A3 sheets and includes full English-language instructions.
The real ship was laid down and built in 1985 at the Northern Shipyard in Gdańsk, serving first with the Black Sea Fleet of the USSR and later with the Ukrainian Navy. It carried out numerous landing exercises and Mediterranean deployments before becoming widely known during the 2014 events in Donuzlav Bay, Crimea.
The model offers two historical paint schemes:
-
Soviet Navy configuration (USSR period)
-
Ukrainian Navy configuration (post-1991)
Due to its high level of detailing and complex structure, this kit is recommended for experienced card model builders seeking an accurate and challenging naval subject.
