Product Description
Build a detailed replica of the Lavochkin-Gorbunov-Gudkov LaGG-3, one of the Soviet Union’s important fighter aircraft of the Second World War, with this 1:33 scale card model kit from Orel (091).
The LaGG-3 was developed by Semyon Lavochkin, Mikhail Gudkov and Vladimir Gorbunov from the earlier LaGG-1 design. The prototype first flew on 23 March 1940, and the aircraft began entering Soviet combat units in 1941. During its production life, the LaGG-3 underwent numerous modifications aimed at improving its armament, range and combat capabilities. A total of approximately 6,500 aircraft were produced.
This Orel paper model offers a high level of detail and can be built in two different colour schemes, giving the modeller a choice of finished appearance. The model features a detailed cockpit interior, realistically represented landing gear bays and separate control surfaces, including the ailerons, elevators and flaps.
Printed across 14 A4 sheets, the kit is designed for experienced card and paper modellers looking for a detailed WWII Soviet fighter aircraft to add to their collection.
