Build two complete Imperial Russian Navy destroyers with this impressive Avangard No. 13 1:200 modelling set.
The publication includes full models of both Steregushchiy (Стерегущий – “Guardian”) and Silnyy (Сильный – “Strong”), two Sokol-type destroyers that served at Port Arthur during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904–1905.

These are two complete ship models, not alternative versions of a single model.
Both destroyers fought during the defence of Port Arthur in 1904. Steregushchiy became famous for her determined final battle against superior Japanese forces, while Silnyy fought Japanese ships during attempts to block the harbour entrance.
The models feature the characteristic appearance of early torpedo boat destroyers, including multiple funnels, artillery and torpedo armament, bridges, boats, davits and detailed deck fittings.
