During her active career, she served in the war against Revolutionary France along the Catalan coast, was later stationed in Cádiz during the Peninsular War, and crossed the Atlantic numerous times while protecting Spanish interests in the Caribbean against privateers. After more than four decades of service, she was dismantled in Cartagena in 1833.
