Product Description
The Battleship Peresvet 1:200 Card Model Kit from Orel Publishing (No. 386) is a highly detailed paper model representing the Russian squadron battleship Peresvet in its early service configuration (up to September 1903).
Originally commissioned in 1901, Peresvet took part in key events of the Russian-Japanese War, including the defence of Port Arthur and the Battle of the Yellow Sea. After being scuttled, salvaged by Japan, recommissioned as Sagami, and later repurchased by Russia, the ship met its final fate in 1917 after striking a German mine in the Mediterranean Sea.
This revised edition is based on the classic No. 24 (2007) issue, featuring wood-textured decks, copper-sheet panelled underwater hull, and historically accurate detailing. The construction design and graphic layout remain unchanged, preserving the proven build quality appreciated by advanced card modelers.
With 32 A4 pages and English-language instructions, this kit delivers an immersive and challenging build experience, ideal for serious naval modeling enthusiasts.
