Product Description

Build an exceptionally detailed model of the German Navy Berlin-class Type 702 supply vessel with this impressive 1:250 paper model kit from HMV Hamburger Modellbaubogen Verlag.

The Berlin-class Einsatzgruppenversorger (EGV) ships were designed to support German Navy task groups during extended operations at sea. Their primary role is supplying warships with fuel, fresh water, provisions, ammunition and other essential stores. During Replenishment at Sea (RAS) operations, two vessels can be supplied simultaneously alongside.

The class has also supported international and humanitarian missions, including relief operations following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and deployments connected with UNIFIL off Lebanon.

Designed by Peter Brandt, HMV 103220 allows you to build Berlin or Frankfurt am Main. This highly advanced kit contains 6,304 parts across 36 A4 sheets and produces an impressive finished model approximately 695 mm (27.36") long.
