Product Description

Build a highly detailed replica of IJN Tachibana, the lead ship of the Tachibana-class destroyers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the final stages of World War II.

This complete Avangard 1:200 modelling set includes:

Unlike the larger Japanese fleet destroyers of the earlier war years, the Tachibana class was designed for simplified construction, escort operations, anti-aircraft defence and anti-submarine duties.

The model features a full underwater hull, detailed bridge and superstructure, 127 mm guns, quadruple 610 mm torpedo launcher, extensive 25 mm anti-aircraft armament, radar equipment, depth charges, boats, masts and numerous deck fittings.

At approximately 500 mm (19.7") long, this detailed late-war Japanese destroyer makes an excellent project for experienced card modellers and collectors of Imperial Japanese Navy warships.
