Product Description

Build a detailed replica of one of the most famous fighter aircraft in aviation history with the Orel Messerschmitt Bf.109 E-3 Card Model Kit, presented in distinctive Swiss Air Force markings from 1944.

The Messerschmitt Bf.109 was a German single-engine fighter that became one of the most widely produced combat aircraft in history. The Bf.109 E, commonly known as the "Emil", introduced the powerful Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine with direct fuel injection and became one of the best-known early versions of the aircraft.

Switzerland acquired 80 Bf.109 E-series fighters in 1939, which served with several Swiss Air Force units during the Second World War. Additional Bf.109 E-3 airframes were later assembled in Switzerland by Dornier-Werke AG at Altenrhein, giving the aircraft an interesting place in both German and Swiss aviation history.

This Orel No. 103 paper model reproduces a Swiss Messerschmitt Bf.109 E-3 in 1:33 scale. The kit is supplied on 12 A4 sheets and offers aviation enthusiasts and experienced paper modellers the opportunity to create an impressive display model with the distinctive Swiss military markings.
