Build one of the world’s most powerful emergency tow vessels with this highly detailed card model kit of the Nordic from HMV. Designed by master model maker Peter Brandt, this kit allows you to create several different versions of the famous rescue tug, including commissioning and the October 2019 version. With over 1,800 parts, detailed instructions, and optional features, this model offers both challenge and fun for experienced paper modelers.

The kit includes two sets of hull sides, two different funnels, alternative platforms, winches, cranes, and even the option to build the bridge interior. Choose between a full hull or waterline version to display your model the way you prefer. Despite the high level of detail, construction is straightforward thanks to Peter Brandt’s clear and extensive instructions.

Nordic, built at Peenewerft shipyard and commissioned in 2010, is one of the strongest tugboats worldwide. With a length of 78 meters, a bollard pull of 201 tons, and a top speed of nearly 20 knots, she plays a crucial role in maritime safety along the German coast.
