Product Description
Build a highly detailed scale replica of the famous Soviet SU-122 self-propelled gun with this Orel 025 card model kit in 1:25 scale.
Developed in the USSR in 1942, the SU-122 was based on the chassis of the successful T-34 medium tank. Designed as a fully armoured assault gun, it was primarily intended to support infantry and armoured units by destroying enemy fortifications, firing positions and other battlefield targets.
Armed with the powerful 122 mm M-30S howitzer, the SU-122 combined the proven mobility of the T-34 chassis with substantial short-range firepower. A total of 638 SU-122 vehicles were produced during World War II.
This Orel paper model is presented in the characteristic Soviet green colour scheme and features a high level of exterior detail, allowing experienced card modellers to create an impressive and realistic display model. The kit contains 30 A4 sheets and builds into a substantial 1:25 scale replica.
